Letaba Thatchers is a member of the International Thatching Society and a founding member of the Thatchers Association of South Africa since 31 January 2006 with membership number GSA018. TASA confirmed members are held accountable against strict industry standards to ensure workmanship and customer service of the highest standard. Letaba Thatchers further supports their adherence to these standards by offering a 5 year guarantee on the products they use, as well their workmanship on all installations.

Micon Thatchbor is a dual-purpose aqueous chemical system, which contains phosphate based fire-retardants and borate-based preservatives. Micon THATCHBOR FR provides permanent and wide spectrum protection against biological attack and imparts the highest possible degree of fire retardation for thatched roofing.
Micon THATCHSAYF is an environmentally safe and effective fire retardant coating for the fire protection of thatched roofs. Spray work is undertaken by Micon’s approved and trained applicators to ensure that correct pressure and minimum quantity of 1,3 litres per m2 is applied to both the interior and exterior of the roof
